The logo of the All Bengal Yoga Doctor’s Association (ABYDA) is more than just a visual identity — it is a powerful reflection of our mission, values, and the timeless essence of yoga.
At the center of the emblem sits a meditative silhouette — a universal symbol of peace, discipline, and inner transformation. This figure embodies not just the individual practitioner,
but the deeper spirit of motherhood — calm, focused, nurturing, and spiritually grounded.
“Mother is the powerhouse of every life — and Yoga is her divine connection to the universe.”
Just as a mother gives life, love, and strength to the world, yoga provides balance, healing, and clarity to all aspects of being. The lotus petals behind the figure, in calming shades of green and blue, symbolize purity, growth, and spiritual awakening — connecting the nurturing qualities of both motherhood and yogic philosophy.
Encircling this sacred imagery is the name of our association, representing unity, inclusion, and our commitment to promoting yoga across Bengal and beyond.
Within the logo are five highlighted initiatives we proudly support:
These represent our dedication to preserving and promoting diverse yoga traditions — from global practices to indigenous knowledge — much like how a mother embraces every child’s uniqueness. Established in 2005, ABYDA is a proud unit of MDDT, working tirelessly to promote therapeutic yoga, research, and education across communities. At the base of the logo, the laurel motifs symbolize honor, growth, and lifelong achievement, echoing our vision of yoga as a transformative force for the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of all.
